Learning Environment
We provide a rich learning environment with curricula that is developmentally appropriate to the specific ages in each classroom. We have a flexible day routine that allows children to advance at their own pace. We strongly believe that learning happens through purposeful play. Learning and exploring are hands-on and are facilitated through interest areas. Our program is designed to enhance children's development in the following areas: creativity, self-expression, decision-making, problem-solving, responsibility, independence, and reasoning. We encourage openness to that which is different from us, and the abiliy to work and play with others.

Curriculum & Assessment
Jewell's Gems Academy uses the Experience Curriculum through Mother Goose Time in association with the Brightwheel application. As part of this curriculum, we gather information on your child's development abilities and evaluate the progress of your child to keep a record of your child's educational growth. This evaluation is communicated to families through the Brightwheel digital platform. The information gathered will also be used in association with other activities to be presented during parent-teacher meetings throughout the year. We also highly encourage parents to stay up to date on their child's educational developments through Brightwheel to work with their child at home on the same things they are learning in school.
